I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve been to this place, but every single visit has been amazing! The food is absolutely incredible, and if you haven’t tried the chicken katsu yet, you’re missing out - it's hands down one of the best I’ve had. Every time I bring friends here, they fall in love with the food, and I always leave impressed. The flavors are consistently spot on, and the quality never disappoints. I honestly can't recommend it enough - whether you're a regular or a first-timer, you're in for a treat!
Trick or treat? I was grateful to be invited by Karro and Leo having dinner @yakiisushi before Halloween. Last time I tried their starters which were awesome. Karro said the must try item @yakiisushi must be sushi. @yakiisushi 4 Fairfax St, Coventry CV1 5SR WHAT WE HAD Vegetable Gyozas Special Homemade Chips Prawn Katsu Curry Chicken Wings (limited time offer) Sushi platter (Avocado King Prawn, Salmon Dragon Eel, Salmon Special, Lion Roll) The chips were seasoned with chilli and salt. It’s crispy and tasty. This is so far the best chips I ever had in UK. This is definitely a perfect starter especially with beer but also good with wine Prawn Katsu Curry consisted of 6 king prawns and the portion was huge. The curry sauce was thick and spicy. I loved it mixed with the rice. So flavourful and delicious The sushi platter was tailor-made. It combined all the best rolls and nigiri. They were awesome and I should have another post for this beautiful sushi platter What’s your plan in Halloween? This restaurant is a gem, the atmosphere feels cosy and warm. The staff are all very helpful, friendly, and fast to serve all of our orders! I had the takoyaki and chicken katsu noodle soop, as well as the oreo milkshake for dessert; the portions are generous and it was beyond delicious, all for a really fair price, great value! I would definitely recommend to others and go again!

Ordered the nigiri set and the house beef noodle soup. Both items were delicious, the noodle soup was a great flavour; it was the perfect amount of salt and sweet and had the tiniest tiniest bit of spice. The beef pieces were nice and fatty too! I would’ve liked more veg but still very very nice
Friendly staff, quiet dining and clean atmosphere. The food is prepared well, the meats aren’t over cooked, very tender in the bowls and dishes. The sushi tastes fresh and took little time to come after ordering. Photos are over many visits, and will continue to come back! 5/5
I love Chicken Katsu FIRE CRACKER bento box. Of course, the chicken katsu with its sweet and spicy sauce is delicious, but the rice, the side vegetable tempura, and the perfectly salted edamame are all really tasty Highly recommended. 5 stars!!
